Well at least you were in Honolulu all winter. The Inversion IPA is actually available year round and is almost the same intensity as the Hop Henge IPA from last year, in fact I suspect it is the same recipe.

<a href="http://www.deschutesbrewery.com/BrewPub/OnTap/125352.aspx" rel="nofollow">Hop Henge was an Imperial IPA</a> this year and it would knock you out of your chair at 8.1%

Buzzsaw Brown is great because it's just like a lighter version of the Porter for Spring. I've got the last 12 bottles of it from the local shop that I've stashed away to save for out of town visitors. Are you coming back to the mainland this summer?

So far in Honolulu I have only seen Mirror Pond, Obsidian Stout, and Black Butte Porter (from Deschutes). My brother back home told me all winter about how great the Inversion and Jubelale were, grr.

I still remember you bringing in the Hop Trip for me from Larry's market. Have you tried the Hop Henge this year?

So innocently enough, I google myself to see what's up in the world of Mike Plummer, and I run across MikePlummer.com...

Good to know there's 2 Mike Plummer's in this world lusting over the same TV. (you have no idea how much that freaked my wife out) Is that the 46" XBR3 you're after???

Oddly enough, I'm a HT nut too. When I get my paws on that 46"er, that'll be the 3rd smallest in the house.

What else is strangely coincidental... you have a dalmation - my aunt used to breed dalmations (OK - that's a bit of a stretch)... you worked for a couple of creative places, I was a graphic designer for just under 11 years... you went to school in MN, I'm from WI... and we look to be at least kind of the same age.

The world is a crazy crazy place sometimes...
